Implementations, Upgrades and Migrations

Byte Tech deploys implementation projects in five phases, delivering all consulting resources and licenses required. These five stages are: planning, design, realization (including tests and end-user trainings), final preparation (go-live), and post-productive support.

End-user training is conducted through a train-the-trainer program, which is divided into two stages: a group of in-house functional analysts and/or end-users selected by the client receive the training, and transmit it to the rest of the end-users in the company as required.

Full-scale Implementations in large and midsized companies -deploying solutions such as SAP All-In-One- will typically require 6 to 12 months. Packaged solutions for smaller businesses -such as SAP Business One- will typically take around 8 to 10 weeks in order to be completed. The significant reduction in time occurs mainly during the design and realization phases. Finally, upgrading an existing SAP solution to a newer version usually requires 12 to 16 weeks.
